Creadora escénica, producción y gestión cultural, actriz e intérprete de danza. Directora en UNA (Unión Nacional de Artistas). Del año 2000 al 2007 reside en Alemania donde realiza como creadora e intérprete diversas producciones artísticas en el ámbito teatral, la performance y la danza contemporánea, participando en giras por festivales de Europa y América Latina.
Es parte de la compañía de danza “MINAKO SEKI COMPANIE” en Berlín, con la cual realiza diversas producciones y ayudantía en sus workshop. En Frankfurt/Main se une por dos años a la compañía de teatro físico “ANTAGON TEATER AKTION".
A partir del 2012 se incorpora a la compañía de danza contemporánea “ABUNDANZA” de Isabel Croxatto. Es encargada del área danza de “Encuentro Escena Independiente III” y directora de “Encuentro Escena Independiente IV” en el Centro Cultural Matucana100, el 2016. Sus últimas realizaciones como creadora son la Performance “MINOTAURA”, el unipersonal de danza contemporánea “SOLA”. Actualmente, es directora de la compañía ATOMICADANZA, realizando las obras de danza contemporánea “BI-POLAR” y "TELÚRICA, y las intervenciones en el espacio público con “Experimentos Bipolares”.
Concept, direction, choreography and performance:
Ana Barros, scenic creator, actress, dancer and performer. From 2000 to 2007 she lives in Germany where she creates and produces various artistic productions in the field of contemporary dance, theater and performance, participating in tours of European and Latin American festivals. Former dancer in the "MINAKO SEKI COMPANY" dance company in BERLIN, with which she produces various productions and assistants in her workshops. At FRANKFURT / Main she joins the physical theater company "ANTAGON TEATER AKTION" for two years. From 2012 she joins ISABEL CROXATTO's contemporary dance company "ABUNDANZA". Her latest achievements as a creator are the "MINOTAURA" Performance, presented in different art galleries and cultural centers such as the Chilean Contemporary Art fair CHACO, the single-person contemporary dance "SOLA" and currently directs the dance company ATOMICADANZA, creating the work "BI-POLAR" and the interventions in the public space "Bipolar Experiment". From her experience as a daughter of former political prisoner of the Chilean dictatorship, she performs her artistic works that contain a deep aesthetic and human sense, in which the artist seeks to transcend the darkness and transmute the pain through a torn physical work , Rescuing the beauty in an imaginary full of tensions and contradictions.
