ONE BY ONE, Site Specific
ONE BY ONE is a performance that brings together local performers to explore together a relational scenic device. The work induces the performer to go out of himself to enter into a "we", forming together a spatial and psychological framework, where he becomes a mirror, opposite or echo of another. Immersed in this "relational device", we are invited to enter into the "temporality of listening" in which the space between one body and another becomes dense and significant, charged with symbolism, to construct a psychological architecture that intervenes in urban architecture, re-signifying it, problematising the space of transit and human relations. The bodies weave together significant readings, constellations that invite the spectator to enter into the labyrinths of the unconscious, of underground questioning of their existence. This symbolic architecture manifests itself physically in space through the lines that unite the bodies, which sculpturally design the space in which gestures, relationships and questions appear, producing an arrest in which "the link" and all its complexities emerge.
