"Márgenes Remotos"
Ana Barros (Germany/Chile) and Ciro Beltran (Germany/Chile)
Collaboration with Ciro Beltran.
Carpets: Disciplinary displacements.
Ciro Beltran paints on discarded carpets found on the street. With these paintings he builds installations that seem to be the precarious dwellings of a homeless person. The painting leaves the wall and becomes an installation. Then he invites Ana Barros to give it life, so that this work of art, which is then a precarious dwelling, becomes a living organism, an ornament of the body that carries out processes of transformation, of digestion.
Performance collaboration at the Museum of Fine Arts, MAVI, Santiago de Chile.
